Abstract: HTML/XML form based workflow management system (WFMS) has some serious defects in friendly user interface, the capacity of supporting distributive deployment and the data security. In this paper, a method for solving these problems is proposed through applying the XForm technology into WFMS. Firstly, the architecture and principle of the XForm based workflow management system (XF-WFMS) are discussed. Then, a method of implementation and the main algorithms are presented through using the open sources projects Shark and Chiba. This method has been applied into the development of a real application, and the result shows that it reaches the prospective effect.

摘要： 传统的基于HTML/XML表单的工作流管理系统(WFMS)在用户友好性、对分布部署的支撑能力和安全性方面存在较大的缺陷，本文将XForm表单技术与WFMS集成以解决这些问题。探讨了基于XForm表单的WFMS的体系结构和实现原理，并在此指导下，结合开源工作流引擎Shark和XForm表单解析器Chiba给出了具体的实现方案和主要算法。该技术在实际系统的开发中得到了应用，并取得了良好的效果。
