Abstract: Arterial Pulse Wave Velocity(PWV) measurement is of great theoretical importance and practical value in evaluating the arterial elasticity and stiffness.To improve the accuracy in PWV measurement in complicated noise backgrounds,the paper sets forth the basic philosophy and specific implementation approaches using a chaotic oscillator measurement system in Duffing equation structure for PWV measurement,and studies the method for determining the start point of pulse waveform trough depending on Lyapunov performance indices and consequently accurately measuring Pulse Transit Time(PTT) and PWV.The experimental result demonstrates that,compared with traditional PWV measurement methods,it features higher antijamming capability and marked repeatability,thereby greatly improving its measuring accuracy.The effectiveness and unique features of this method have been proved by theory and experiments.

摘要: 动脉脉搏波速率(PWV)测量在评价动脉弹性和硬度中具有重要的理论意义和应用价值。为了提高在复杂噪声背景下PWV测量精度,提出了利用Duffing方程构造混沌振子检测系统进行PWV测量的基本思想及具体实现方法;研究了根据Lyapunov特性指数值来判断脉搏波波形“波谷”的特征点,从而准确地测量出脉搏波传播时间PTT以及PWV。实验结果表明与传统的PWV检测方法相比较它具有较强的抗干扰能力,重复性得到了显著改善,从而大大提高了测量精度。理论与实验证明了该方法的有效性和独特的优点。
