Abstract: A new method is proposed to design orthogonal waveform set for MIMO radar based on hybrid Linear Frequency Modulation(LFM) and phase code waveform. Comparing the new waveform with the conventional phase code, it has some merits such as the wide bandwidth and being realized in practice. The optimization model of MIMO orthogonal waveform set is formulated and is resolved by genetic algorithm. The optimized waveform set has low cross correlation and autocorrelation side lobe. Simulation experiments verify the correctness of theory analysis and validity of optimization method.

摘要: 提出了基于线性调频-相位编码组合波形的MIMO雷达正交波形集设计方法。与常规单载频子脉冲相位编码信号相比,线性调频-相位编码波形具有易于实现宽频带和高距离分辨率的优点;建立了MIMO雷达正交波形集优化模型,利用遗传算法进行组合优化,所得波形集不仅具有较低的互相关性,而且每个波形的自相关旁瓣也受到一定的抑制,波形集性能优于常规相位编码波形。仿真实验验证了理论分析的正确性和优化方法的有效性。
