Application of improved Snake model in focus contour extraction

改进Snake模型在病灶轮廓提取中的应用

Abstract: Use GVF Snake model which is an improved Snake model to realize focus contour extraction,and improve precision by Gaussion filter and giving original contour interactively.Compared with classical contour extraction algorithm,this method has character of wide capture area and high noise immunity,so it fits well to focus contour with high noise,unfixed position and irregular shape.The result of experiment shows that this method can effectively extract the object contour of image and has good application potential.

摘要: 提出了用改进Snake模型-GVF(Gradient Vector Field)Snake模型来实现医学图像病灶轮廓的提取,结合高斯平滑滤波、交互式给定初始轮廓点等方法提高轮廓提取的精度。该方法与传统的轮廓提取方法相比,具有捕获范围广、对噪声不敏感的特点,特别适合噪声大、位置不确定、形状不规则的病灶轮廓的提取。实验表明,采用该方法能有效地提取病灶轮廓,在临床上有广泛的应用前景。
