Genetic algorithm optimization based PI controller for freeway ramp metering

基于遗传算法优化的高速公路匝道PI控制器

Abstract: An optimization method of the PI controller parameters with genetic algorithm is developed and applied to freeway ramp metering.The objective of ramp metering is formulated,and the freeway traffic flow model is built.Then the optimization procedures with genetic algorithm are given,and the parameters of an on-ramp PI controller are optimized.Simulation results show that the optimization method is of high performance.It is very effective to freeway ramp metering.

摘要: 研究遗传算法优化PI控制器的参数,并应用到高速公路匝道控制中。阐述了匝道控制目标,建立了高速公路交通流模型,给出了遗传算法优化的步骤,并对入口匝道PI控制器的参数进行了优化。仿真结果表明,该方法性能优越,用于高速公路入口匝道控制中效果良好。
