一种高效的H.264去块滤波方法

Abstract: As an essential part in H.264/AVC, loop-filter plays an important role in removing annoying blocking distortion.. However, it is very hard to implement in real-time for its high computing complexity. A detail analysis of the computing complexity for the loop-filtering in standard H.264 is carried out at first and moreover, a new, simpler and efficient deblocking loop-filter is proposed. The analysis and experimental results have shown the new method has following advantages while with very similar filtering effect: (1) the new method has reduced the coding time for amount of 2.24 % to 5.51%; (2) the new method has lower computing complexity, easier for real-time implementation.

摘要: 环路滤波器是H.264视频编码标准的一个重要选项,在去除混合编码带来的块效应的过程中起着重要的作用,但是其计算复杂度较高,不利实时实现。本文首先详细分析了去块滤波器高复杂度的原因,进而提出一种简单、高效的去块滤波新方法。大量的实验证明: 该方法保持了与原方法相近的滤波效果的同时,缩短编码时间2.24%至5.51%,大大较少了计算复杂度,易于硬件实时实现。
