Com-WSN:A component-based testbed for wireless sensor network

Abstract: Research on wireless sensor network(WSN) has gravitated towards the application area over last years.Testing WSN performance in real sensor network testbed has received significant attention.But building and testing new protocols has proven to be extremely difficult,and need much more coding works.To address these issues,a component-based WSN testbed(Com-WSN) is proposed,which is implemented on MICAz platform.The experimental results show that the Com-WSN can significantly reduce coding works and be easy to maintain and expand.

摘要: 随着对无线传感器网络研究的不断深入,人们越来越重视利用真实传感器节点进行网络测试。而在真实测试床上实现和测试新的协议需要大量的编码工作。为了能够降低测试编码的复杂度,提出了基于组件的无线传感器网络测试平台Com-WSN。Com-WSN充分考虑了系统资源的合理分配和协议功能的组件化,保证了平台的易用性和扩展性。通过在MICAz平台上的测试,表明Com-WSN能够有效减少编码工作量,提高测试效率,具有很好的易维护性和可扩展性。
