Summary of global research and practice of Computational Thinking

Abstract: Computational Thinking attracts domestic and international attention. Many countries or regions start training Computational Thinking. But the training tools and means are very different, and the effect is often difficult to measure. The paper sorts out the relevant achievements of the international community from the aspects such as the connotation, dimension, hierarchy, training method, evaluation means, criticism and challenge of Computational Thinking, and evaluates them comprehensively. It thinks that, at present, the international society has not reached a consensus on the connotation, the law of development, the training tool, the evaluation standard of Computational Thinking. The training for Computational Thinking faces with a lot of gamble. It is not the time to train Computational Thinking on a large scale, and the relevant research is urgently needed. The training must avoid subjectivity and enhance pertinence.

摘要: 计算思维引起国内外广泛关注,许多国家或地区开展了计算思维训练,但训练工具和手段差异很大,训练效果往往无法测评。从计算思维的内涵、维度、层次、训练方式、测评手段、批评与质疑等角度,对国际社会的相关成果进行梳理,并加以综合分析,认为目前国际社会对计算思维的内涵、发展规律、训练工具、测评标准尚缺乏统一的认识,计算思维训练面临许多博弈,大规模开展计算思维教育的时机尚不成熟,亟待加强相关研究,避免主观性,增强针对性。
