基于遗传算法的三维植物进化模拟

Abstract: With the development of virtual natural scenery,a lot of plant growth models have been reported.However,most of them are based on computer graphics to portray the objects’ shape at a certain time.Enlightened by Darwin’s evolution theory,it uses the idea of natural selection and evolution mechanism,focus on the species of plants and the process of evolution,and realizes the simulation about the plants evolution.This paper puts forward a model based on genetic algorithm and L-system to simulate the plant evolution.This model will be useful in virtual reality and botany research.

摘要: 虚拟自然景物技术发展到今天,构造虚拟植物的模型已经很多,但多数都侧重于图形学方面,主要研究对象在某一时刻的形态。受达尔文生物进化论思想启发,借鉴生物界自然选择和进化机制,从植物种群着手,以进化过程为研究对象,为实现计算机对植物进化过程模拟,提出了一种基于遗传算法和L-系统的植物进化模型。该模型无论对于计算机虚拟现实还是植物学研究都具有较高的实用价值。
