Realization and application of hardware for algorithm of SM4 in wireless communication

SM4算法在无线通信中的硬件实现与应用

Abstract: With the rapid expansion and spread of the wireless communication, the safety of communication has become focusing research. Aiming to the characteristics of short produce and strict real-time of the wireless communication, it designs a hardware circuit module of SM4. The result of synthesization shows that the project has occupied 1, 875 logic cells in FPGA of the Altera’s Cyclone series and realized the data’s velocity of 266.5 Mb/s. Then it applies the module to the link of communication to realize the encryption platform of wireless communication, the result of experiment declares that the SM4 encryption’s application in the physical layer has a great significance in the security of the information transmission.

摘要: 随着无线通信的快速发展与普及,通信的安全问题成为研究的重点。针对数据吞吐量不高,但实时性要求严格的无线通信问题,设计了一个SM4的硬件电路模块。在Altera的Cyclone系列FPGA上占用1 875个逻辑单元,时钟频率100 MHz,吞吐率为266.5 Mb/s。将该模块应用于此通信链路中,并搭建了一个无线通信加密平台,实验结果表明SM4加密算法在物理层上的应用对于信息传输的安全具有重要意义。
