Solid texture synthesis and mapping in virtual liver base on multiplex calculation

复用计算的虚拟肝脏体纹理合成与映射方法

Abstract: The textures of organs in a virtual surgery system can give users intuitive feelings, and improve the sense of immersion and operation. This paper studies the texture expressing technology in a virtual liver surgery system. Firstly, the paper accomplishes the synthesis of solid texture space, then improves the texture synthesis technology based on multiplex calculation which has been used in 2D situations, and expands it to be used in 3D space to distribute and color the solid texture cubes. In the meantime, it calculates and colors the interior point sets of every triangular patch, in order to strengthen the sense of authenticity. Also it can see inner textures when incising the liver model. The experimental results show that the method can produce 3D textures which are highly realistic and similar to the sample solid textures, and the synthetic rates can meet the requirements of virtual surgery.

摘要: 虚拟手术中器官纹理能够给用户直观反映,加强临场感和操作感。研究在虚拟肝脏手术中纹理的表现技术,先合成体纹理空间,把二维情况下基于复用计算的纹理合成技术进行改进,扩展至三维空间中进行体纹理块分布并着色;同时计算每个三角面片内部点集并着色,以此增加纹理的真实感;切割肝脏体能看到内部纹理。实验结果表明,该方法能够生成具有高度真实感以及同样本体纹理相似的三维纹理,且合成速度能够满足虚拟手术要求。
