Blind equalization algorithm based on variable step-size

基于可变步长的常数模盲均衡算法

Abstract: In order to overcome the slow convergence rates and large error rate in constant modulus algorithm, a novel blind equalization algorithm based on variable step size is proposed in this paper to obtain better equalizing results. A new non-liner function is established based on relationship between step size, and then the function is used to adjust step size of the equalizer which has faster convergence and smaller equalization error, the simulation experiment is carried out to test the performance. The results show that compared with the traditional algorithm, the proposed algorithm can accelerate the convergence speed, greatly reduces the residual error rate, and has good application value.

摘要: 为了提高多输入多输出系统的通信质量,针对传统常数模盲均衡算法存在收敛速度慢、误码率高等缺点,提出来一种基于可变步长的常数模盲均衡算法。利用反正切函数建立一种步长因子与误差间的非线性函数关系,利用此非线性函数来调整步长,加快算法收敛速度,采用仿真实验测试算法的性能。结果表明,相对于其他盲均衡算法,该算法加快了收敛速度,大幅降低误码率,获得理想的均衡效果,具有一定的实用价值。
