Development of vehicle master section parameter measure tool based on CATIA\CAA

基于CATIA/CAA的车身主断面参数测量工具开发

Abstract: During the period of vehicle concept design, the evaluation of master section performance mostly depends on reference vehicle data and the experience of structure design engineers. In this paper, it studies the influence of master section parameters on the vehicle body performance and sets up parameterized model of master section. A Master Section Measure Tool(MSMT) is developed based on CATIA/CAA, which improves design efficiency by measuring the master section parameters according to CAD surface data. As an example, six master sections of A pillar are respectively measured by MSMT and Altair/Hypermesh. The measure results of master section measure tool are the same as the Altair/Hypermesh’s, which approve the practicability and the veracity of this master section measure tools.

摘要: 在汽车概念设计阶段,基本上依靠参考车型和工程师设计经验对车身主断面设计进行评估。研究了车身主断面特性对车身性能的影响,建立了主断面参数化模型。采用CAA/C++技术进行CATIA二次开发,实现汽车车身主断面参数测量工具设计开发。使用该工具能够仅根据CAD曲面数据,便快捷有效地测量出主断面的性能参数,无需CAE分析,缩短设计周期,提高了设计效率。并以六个车型的车身A柱的主断面为例,采用有限元Alair/Hypermesh和本工具进行主断面参数测量,结果基本一致,验证了该测量工具的实用性和准确性。
