Study on tide traffic of small and medium-sized cities based on coordinated control

基于主干道协调控制的中小城市潮汐交通研究

Abstract: With the acceleration of urbanization, the tide traffic jam has spread from big cities to small and medium-sized cities. According to the traffic survey, characteristics of the tide traffic in small and medium-sized cities  and normal solutions in big cities are analyzed, and suitable solutions based on intersection coordinated control are proposed. Typical tide road with actual data in some medium-sized city is taken for an example to design a specific plan, and the implement effect tested by micro traffic simulation shows that it has good effect and improves intersections efficiency obviously.

摘要: 针对中小城市日益严重的潮汐交通现象,依据实地交通调查数据,分析中小城市潮汐交通的特点,比较大城市常用的潮汐交通解决方案,提出基于主干道协调控制的方法改善中小城市潮汐交通拥堵。以某中等城市为例,依据典型潮汐路段实测数据设计的协调控制方案在交通微观仿真平台上进行仿真,结果表明基于主干道协调控制的方法适用于中小城市的潮汐交通现象,实施后能明显地缓解潮汐拥堵,交叉口通行效率得到显著提高。
