Removing artifacts of motion-blurred restoration results

运动模糊图像复原结果中伪像的消除

Abstract: There is inevitable produce Gibbs effect and the ringing artifacts at the edge through Lucy-Richardson(LR) algorithm restore blurred image. In this paper, it presents a new algorithm, introduces new function as coefficient. In the smooth region it uses the original LR algorithm to restoration, and in the edge region new method can keep the details effectively like low-pass filter. The restored image has a weak ringing artifacts and Gibbs effect is suppressed. By comparing experimental results, the improved approach can smooth artifacts better and reconstruct details of image, PSNR of restored image is greatly improved.

摘要: 针对Lucy-Ricardson(LR)算法得到的复原图像存在不同程度的Gibbs效应、边缘振铃等多种类型的伪像,提出一种新的算法,在LR算法的复原图像迭代公式中引入一函数作为其系数,使得图像平滑区域与原来的LR算法的恢复方式相同,同时在图像的边缘区域可以有效地保护细节,起到低通滤波器的作用。实验结果表明,改进算法能很好地平滑伪像和重建图像细节,复原图像的峰值信噪比(PSNR)与其他算法相比有很好的提升。
