Hierarchical multi-rings application layer multicast secure model

Abstract: To solve the high delay and low secure problem in application-layer multicast, this paper presents the design, analysis and performance evaluation of a novel ALM model called SHMRP based on hierarchical multi-rings architecture. It contains a credible Key Server(KS). The model draws into CRTSS solution for key updating and group key management. The leader of each ring completes the key transmission and node management in ring only. This paper also conducts simulations of both SHMRP and a secure model, SOKM, using the NS-2 network simulator. Simulation results show that SHMRP provides less delay, and higher data delivery ratio and more efficeint bandwidth usage. It improves the security of multicast as well.

摘要: 时延大、安全性较低等是现有应用层组播密钥管理的常见问题,提出了一种新型的应用层组播安全模型(SHMRP),该模型有一个可信的密钥服务器(KS),使用CRTSS方案对组密钥进行更新和管理,密钥的分发和节点的管理任务分散到各个环的领导节点来完成。通过NS-2网络仿真器,对SHMRP和SOKM进行仿真比较。试验表明:该模型具有较低的传输时延、较高的宽带利用率和数据传输率,应用该模型可以较好地提高组播的安全。
