Research on selection of benchmark anchor node in localization of wireless sensor networks

Abstract: To meet the requirement of precise localization of nodes in Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN), this paper proposes an improved least square algorithm based on the selection of benchmark anchor node. The traditional LS localization algorithm does not reasonably take advantage of the selecting of benchmark anchor node to improve the localization precision, in consideration of these, a new method based on the minimum cumulative relative distance error for selecting benchmark anchor node is presented, and then the least square algorithm is adopted to calculate accurate location of the unknown node. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can greatly improve the localization precision without greatly increasing the algorithm complexity.

摘要: 针对无线传感器节点精确定位问题,提出一种通过选择基准锚节点实现提高定位精度的改进最小二乘定位算法。目前最小二乘定位算法未能充分利用通过合理选择基准锚节点达到提高定位精度的作用,鉴于此,提出利用累积相对误差最小方法选择基准锚节点,然后,用最小二乘法定位待测节点。仿真结果表明,在较少的增加算法复杂度的基础上能够较大地提高定位精度。
