Abstract: Cross layer mechanisms with MAC and routing integrated is an important solution for Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) protocols.This paper studies AIMRP in-depth and proposes an enhanced AIMRP protocol E-AIMRP.Designing for the event detect applications,it integrates MAC and routing with cross layer mechanisms,furthermore it solves the problems in AIMRP of low energy efficient resulting from the multi-node event detecting and reports,and introduction of a new efficient energy saving model,makes the average power consumption remains constant independent of event or node increasing.The simulation results show that E-AIMRP outperforms AIMRP for energy efficiency and time delay in the event-detection applications.

摘要: 融合MAC和路由功能的跨层协议设计方案是高效的无线传感器网络协议的重要解决思路。在深入研究AIMRP协议的基础上,提出一种增强型的协议E-AIMRP。它针对事件检测与快速报告型应用,跨层融合设计MAC和路由功能,并解决了AIMRP中由于多节点检测和报告而造成的能量浪费问题,同时引进一种高效的能量节省模型,使其在事件增加或节点增加的情况下,能量消耗维持在一个常数。仿真结果表明,相对于AIMRP,E-AIMRP增强了协议的扩展性,进一步提高了能量效率和减少了时延。
