Energy aware QoS routing mechanism for wireless multimedia sensor networks

一种WMSNs能量感知QoS路由机制设计

Abstract: Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks(WMSNs) has a broad prospect of application because of the increasing demand for monitoring data.Since multimedia information has a strict requirement on Quality of Service(QoS) and a heavy dependence on network energy,research of QoS in WMSNs is becoming more challenging.This paper presents a routing mechanism of reliable routing based energy aware,which chooses appropriate routing by considering residual energy in node and reliable of path,and improves the use of network resources and the reliability of the network.Simulation experiments show that the mechanism can effectively improve the reliability of the transmission network communication and reduce costs.

摘要: 随着对监测数据的要求越来越高,多媒体传感器网络具有广泛的应用前景。由于多媒体信息对QoS的要求比较高和网络对能量的依赖较大,使得无线多媒体网络中QoS问题的研究极具挑战性。从网络层角度提出一种基于能量感知的可靠路由机制,通过充分考虑节点的剩余能量和路径的可靠性,选择相应的路由,从而提高了对网络资源的利用和网络的可靠性。仿真实验显示该机制能有效提高传输的可靠性,降低网络通信开销。
