Simulation modeling for contention-collision cancellation access mode in multi-star LAN

一种竞争—冲突淘汰存取方式的仿真建模研究

Abstract: Contention-Collision Cancellation(C-CC)access mode is an important access control mode in multi-star Local Area Network(LAN).According to the multi-star LAN’s working mechanism and design principle,C-CC access mode is classified six types of system model.Many mathematical modeling researches about these system models are reported,but the simulation modeling research has not been presented so far.In this paper,the process of constructing the multi-star LAN and implementing type Ⅰ system model using by OPNet Modeler is discussed.Through simulation modeling,we get 3 main performance parameters:packet delay,the queue size of central node,and throughput.Finally,the simulation result is compared with the theoretical result in previous reference.

摘要: 竞争-冲突淘汰(C-CC)存取方式是多星局域网(LAN)的存取控制方式。人们根据多星LAN的设计原理,将C-CC存取方式分为6类系统模型。目前,关于这6类系统模型的数学建模研究已经有详细报告,但是仿真建模研究还没有开展。利用OPNet仿真平台,详细阐述了构建多星LAN、实现C-CC存取方式Ⅰ类系统模型的方法和过程。通过仿真建模,得到了3个主要性能参数:数据包延迟、中心节点的队列长度和吞吐量。最后,将仿真结果与已有的理论结果进行了比较,仿真结果更有实际意义。
