New tone reservation method for PAR reduction in OFDM systems

一种降低OFDM系统峰均功率比的有效方法

Abstract: A new tone reservation method which processes the peaks at the maximal amplitude direction is proposed.At the same time,we improve the Newton-method in order to reduce the computational cost of the former tone reservation method.Compared with the Active-set method proposed by B.S.Krongold and D.L.Jones,this new method can obviously reduce computational cost without losing the PAR reduction effects.Simulation results show that the proposed tone reservation method based on the maximal amplitude direction is a more simple and effective PAR reduction method.

摘要: 提出了一种在最大幅值方向上进行峰值处理的子载波预留方法,同时还利用改进的牛顿迭代算法,进一步降低了子载波预留方法的计算开销。与B.S.Krongold和D.L.Jones提出的积极集子载波预留方法相比,该方法在有效处理复基带信号峰值的同时,明显降低了系统计算复杂度。仿真和分析表明,这种基于最大幅值方向的子载波预留方法是一种更为简单、有效的峰值处理方法。
