Abstract: Basic R0-algebras is the common base of MV_algebras and R0_algebras. The present paper introduces the notions of normal MP-filters and Boolean MP-filters in basic R0_algebras (BR0_algebras for short). The relations between normal MP-filters and Boolean MP-filters are studied and their characterization properties are given. Moreover, the characterization theorem which captures normal BR0_algebras is obtained
