Abstract: We first give the overview of the MAC protocol in IEEE 802.15.4, and then, provide the analysis and performance evaluation using ns2 simulator, with respect to peer-to-peer, star and cluster-tree topologies respectively, we focus on the energy consumption of every node, and what exists in the final section is the average energy remained in the cluster-tree network.

摘要： 分析论述IEEE 802.15.4 MAC层协议，运用ns2仿真软件详细分析对等网、星型网及簇树网的网络性能，重点分析节点的能量损耗问题，并对簇树网中节点的平均剩余能量分布加以详细分析。
