Abstract: Vein patterns,as one of the personal biological characters,is unique and stable.Vein patterns verification has recently been intensively researched because of its importance in biometrics.This paper proposes a novel vein patterns extraction algorithm based on adaptive region-growing algorithm for personal verification application.

摘要: 静脉特征作为人体生物特征,具有惟一性和终身不变的特点,近年来作为生物特征识别的一个重要研究领域,越来越受到研究者的重视。利用手部静脉特征进行身份识别的关键是如何有效地提取手部静脉模式。作为静脉模式提取领域的新探索,提出了一种新方法用于提取手部静脉模式。
