Supplier Strategy Design Based on Stock-outs Compensation Mechanism in E-marketplace Transaction

Abstract: In e-commerce era, enterprises have begun to utilize e-marketplace to purchase more and more products and services so as to reduce transaction cost and increase the speed of market response. Therefore, stock-outs become an inevitable phenomenon. However, it is usually assumed that the losses resulted by stock-outs are afforded by the buyer. This paper proposes that supplier should make some compensation proportionally for buyer in case of stock-outs in e-marketplace transaction, so as to avoid the disaggregation of the supply chain system and realize win-win situation. Then, a model of compensation for stock-outs of supplier is established exploiting the principle of non-linear programming, and optimal solutions to order quantity are provided respectively.

摘要: 在电子商务时代,企业开始越来越多地利用现代信息技术特别是电子市场进行各种交易,以降低交易成本,提高市场响应速度,因此缺货成为不可避免的现象,但往往都是由购买商承担缺货所带来的各种损失。文章提出在电子市场交易中,供应商在缺货时应向购买商提供一定比例的补偿,以避免供应链的解体,实现双赢目的,然后利用非线性规划的原理,建立了供应商缺货补偿模型,并给出了最优订货量。
