磁盘阵列性能测试工具研究

Abstract: At present there are many excellent performance evaluation benchmarks in domestic and abroad,such as TPC,SPC,IOMeter,IOZONE and so on,but they all have some restrictions on application environments.In order to sovle this problem,this paper designs and implements a new Linux-based performance testing benchmark DAMeter.Experiments between DAMeter and IOMeter,a widely used benchmark for Windows,demonstrate the reliability of DAMeter and accuracy of its test results.Finally,this paper describes how to generate different work load with DAMeter for disk array systems performance testing.

摘要: 目前国内外有许多优秀的性能评测基准如TPC、SPC、IOMeter、IOZONE等,但它们在应用环境和功能上存在一些限制。为了解决这个问题,设计并实现了一个基于Linux分布式系统的磁盘阵列性能测试工具DAMeter,并与业内广泛使用的Windows下磁盘阵列性能测试基准IOMeter进行对比实验,证明了DAMeter工具测试结果的准确性和可靠性。并介绍了如何使用DAMeter产生不同负载进行磁盘阵列性能测试。
