一种互补型多处理器系统中OS间通信接口设计

Abstract: The primary characteristics of ARM PXA255 and digital signal processor TMS320DM642,and the principle of HPI(Host-Port Interface)are introduced.A new method of inter-OS communication interface designing based-on CMPS(Complementary Multiprocessor System) is emphasized.A single-board embedded multimedia system which integrates three embedded microprocessors(PXA255,TMS320DM642 and SM501) as hardware platform is taken.How to implement tasks communication and data transform via HPI between different operating systems(Linux and RTOS μC/OS-II)running on GPP and DSP separately is described.

摘要:

介绍了PXA255、TMS320DM642和SM501嵌入式多处理器的主要特点以及主机接口(Host Port Interface,HPI)的原理。提出了一种基于互补型多处理器系统中操作系统间的通信接口设计方法。以一个集成3个嵌入式微处理器于单板的嵌入式多媒体系统为硬件平台,叙述了运行在数字信号处理器(DSP)上的实时操作系统μC/OS-II 如何通过DSP的HPI与运行在ARM处理器上的Linux操作系统进行任务通信和数据传输的实现过程。
