Abstract: Edge is one of the basic characters of image.A new edge detection method which is based on multi-resolution wavelet transformation is presented in this paper.The results of experiments indicate that this method has a good effective ability of imege edge detection,which can not only restrain noises,but also has a better multi-directivity.

摘要: 边缘是图像的基本特征之一,提出了一种多尺度的图像边缘检测方法。实验表明,该方法能够有效地对图像边缘进行检测、抑制噪音,同时具有较好的多方向性。
