Stripe noise of THz image prcessing based on frequency filtering

基于频域滤波的THz图像条纹噪声处理

Abstract: There is a tremendous prospect of THz imaging in the safety testing,medical rsearch and nondestructive testing,etc.In the research using CW THz imaging technology to debond in space shuttle insulating foam,the noise severely affects the future image processing.By analyzing the characteristics of the stripe noise of terahertz image,an algorithm,based on that image projection of the spectrum automatically determines the frequency of noise,is presented,which uses ButterWorth band stop filter to deal with the stripe noise.The result shows that stripe noise is removed and the image details are reserved.

摘要: 太赫兹在安全检查、医疗诊断、特别是在无损检测领域等方面都有广阔的应用前景,在利用0.2 THz连续CW系统检测航天所用的燃料箱泡沫板隔离层的粘合效果研究中,条纹噪声严重影响了图像的效果。针对这个问题,分析了条纹噪声的特征,提出了一种基于图像幅度谱的投影图自动确定噪声频率的算法,利用ButterWorth带阻滤波器对THz图像中条纹噪声进行处理,在滤除噪声的同时较好地保留了图像的细节信息。
