Eye location based on skin color and template matching

基于肤色和模板匹配的人眼定位

Abstract: This paper presents an eye location algorithm based on skin color and template matching.First,a skin color model in YCbCr space is used for roughly locating regions of probable face.Then using average eye template,the authors implement template matching based on pyramid structure to locate the eye.Experimental results indicate that the algorithm largely improve the locating speed and accuracy with good illumination robustness.

摘要: 提出了一种基于肤色和模板匹配的彩色图像人眼定位方法。首先利用YCbCr空间的肤色模型粗定位可能的人脸区域,然后在候选人脸区域用平均眼模板作基于金字塔结构的模板匹配定位眼睛。实验结果表明该方法在复杂背景下极大地提高了眼睛定位速度和精确度,具有较好的光照鲁棒性。
