基于VTK的三维纹理映射方法的实现及其应用

Abstract: VTK is one of the most famous visualization toolkits,and 3D-Texture mapping is also an important technique in visualization fields,but VTK doesn’t support 3D-Texture mapping at the moment.In the paper,VTK is improved to support 3D texture based on analysis of its mechanism,then based on the method to integrate 3D geometry model and 3D volume dataset for visualization.The integration method is applied in own-developed visualization SVIP( Scientific Visualization Integrated Platform),the result is satisfied.

摘要: VTK是最著名的可视化软件开发包之一,三维纹理映射也是可视化领域的关键技术,但目前VTK不支持三维纹理。通过分析VTK的工作机制,对VTK进行扩充使之支持三维纹理映射;然后应用三维纹理映射方法实现了在三维几何模型叠加三维数据场,并将该方法应用于自主研发的可视化系统SVIP(Scientific Visualization Integrated Platform),并取得了良好的效果。
