Abstract:
With the rise of 3D movie and 3D television, the reconstruction of three-dimensional sound field is a hot research issue at present. NHK has proposed a 22.2 multichannel system, which can bring 3D listening experience for listener at the central listening point or zone. But when there are more than one listener in the reconstruction sound field, they can not get the best listening experience except the central point, because the best listening point is at the central point. To address this problem, this paper proposes a two listening points 3D sound field reconstruction method, which can allow two listeners to get the best listening experience simultaneously in the same sound field by maintaining the sound pressure and particle velocity at the two listeners’ positions before and after reconstruction. In two zones, the influence of the size of reconstructed zones, the distance between reconstructed zones and the angle between reconstructed zones on the reconstruction error is compared and analyzed through the simulation experiments. The experimental results show that the proposed method is effective.
