制图综合中河流与建筑物拓扑冲突处理方法

Abstract: Cartographic generalizations make it more productive while deriving smaller-scale features from larger-scale topographic maps. Nowadays, cartographic generalization operators are more widely used than ever, such as simplification, smooth, etc. Sometimes, these operators may produce errors. For example, if a river at larger scale is smoothed improperly, then a building by the river side would drop into the water from the perspective of a map user. That is called an inconsistency, i.e., conflicts happen to a river and a building. Hence, a methodbased on morphing technique is proposed to handle these conflicts. Firstly, the boundary of a river at a larger scale and its corresponding boundary which is produced by generalization operators are extracted. Then, a conflicting zone which is covered by a building is excluded from the area ringed by both river boundaries. Secondly, morphing transformations are performed from boundary of alarger-scale river to the other side. Thirdly, with respect to the distance constraint, an optimal river boundary is interpolated. At the end of this paper, experiments demonstrate that the proposed method provides a promising solution for eliminating topological conflicts between a river and a building.

摘要: 一致性是检验空间数据质量的重要指标之一。不一致性的存在将极大地降低空间数据可用性,空间数据不一致性通常表现为空间目标之间的明显矛盾或冲突,多出现于多源多尺度空间数据集成、更新和制图综合等过程中。针对由较大比例尺地图综合派生较小比例尺地图中河流与建筑物之间的拓扑冲突,提出了一种基于Morphing变换的拓扑不一致性处理新方法,并通过对比实验分析了该方法的合理性和有效性。
