Statistics channel model for distant scattering in macrocell environment

Abstract: A statistical distant scattering model in suburban or hilly propagation environment is proposed, this type of scattering can occur because of mountains and high building clusters, its statistics channel model is studied, the closed-form expressions of the joint Probability Density Function(PDF) of time of arrival /angle of arrival, the marginal PDF of the time of arrival, the marginal PDF of the angle of arrival and the angle of departure are derived, the simulation results give the relationship between the probability density function and the channel parameters, this PDF’s deduction provides insight into the properties of the spatial distant scattering channel model.

摘要: 针对在郊区或多山的传播环境中,因山脉或大的建筑群而引起传播信号散射形成的基站和移动台都不在散射区域内的远距离散射信道模型,研究了其统计几何信道传播模型,推导了到达时间/到达角联合概率密度函数、到达时间边缘概率密度函数,发射端离开角与接收端到达角边缘概率密度函数的解析表达式,并通过仿真给出了概率密度函数与信道特性参数之间的关系,概率密度函数的推导为远距离散射信道模型空间特性的分析提供了参考。
