Electronic image stabilization algorithm for estimating rotation and translation simultaneously

可同时估计旋转和平移的电子稳像方法

Abstract: A novel method for electronic image stabilization based on phase-correlation is proposed,which is used to remove video jitter caused by the jitter of push-broom flat.The rotation,scaling and translation parameters between the stabilized image and the reference image are acquired by log-polar mapping technique and phase correlation algorithm.Then,adaptive average value filtering is employed to facilitate smooth operation in terms of constant velocity motion models.Experimental results show that this method is efficient,and satisfy the general demand.

摘要: 提出了一种新的可同时估计旋转和平移的电子稳像算法,用于消除由于推扫平台系统姿态不稳所造成的图像抖动。采用对数极坐标映射技术和相位相关算法求取待稳定图像帧与参考图像帧之间的旋转角度和缩放及平移参数,在建立参数运动模型的基础上,通过自适应均值滤波确定各帧修正矢量。实验说明了此方法的有效性,能够满足一般要求。
