一种感兴趣区图像压缩编码算法

Abstract: A ROI(Region Of Interest) image coding algorithm is proposed.By using different wavelets and bit rate to transform and code the original ROI and BG(BackGround) separately,combined with the SPIHT(Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees),the compression quality between ROI and BG can be controlled flexibly.Since the BNC17/11 wavelet and CDF9/7 wavelet are employed to perform the wavelet transform,the capability of ROI image compression algorithm is improved.Further,the proposed algorithm needs not to calculate the ROI mask.

摘要: 提出了一种感兴趣区图像压缩编码算法,该算法采用不同的小波和比特率对感兴趣区和背景区分开进行小波变换和编解码,结合SPIHT,该算法可灵活地控制感兴趣区和背景区之间的相对压缩质量,由于小波变换时采用了BNC17/11小波和CDF9/7小波,该算法进一步提高了感兴趣区图像压缩编码算法的压缩性能。同时该算法无需计算感兴趣区掩膜。
