Virtual endoscope show of internal pipeline with industrial computed tomography

工件内部管道的工业CT虚拟内窥显示

Abstract: Many industrial components have pipelines,the endoscope show of the pipeline has important significance in industrial product quality nondestructive testing and so on,which can intuitively show the internal structures and defects of the pipeline.Based on a sequence of industrial computed tomography slice images,this paper uses region-growing method to segment the image,and then uses averaging method to fit circle in pipe section.In order to obtain smoother image,B-spline interpolation is used for the circle center and radius of the pipeline.Experimental results give the 3-D display and the virtual endoscope show of the pipeline.

摘要: 许多工件内部含有管道,管道内窥显示可直观地显示管道内部结构和缺陷,对工业质量检测和无损探伤等具有重要意义。在工业CT断层图像序列的基础上,采用区域生长法对图像切片进行分割,然后对管道截面进行圆拟合,为了使得到的图像比较平滑,采用B样条对管道的轴心和半径进行插值拟合,并对管道进行三维显示和虚拟内窥显示。实验结果证实了该算法的有效性。
