植被三维建模及应用进展

Abstract: There are two kinds of vegetation modeling:modeling of single tree and modeling of scene.Single tree modeling can be subdivided into botany-based and computer graphics-based method.Part I of the paper is devoted to the software,techniques and applications of single tree modeling.Three well-developed modeling tools:L-system,AMAP and Xfrog is discussed and compared in detail in this part.Part II is about the modeling of scene:DEM to visualize the terrain,landscape design and then,modeling the“virtual world”.A review of regular methods is put forward first,followed with a survey of the ways to increase modeling speed,flyover fps and improve the visual impact.Finally this paper summarizes the exiting issues and highlight the perspectives of further research and applications.

摘要: 植被三维建模可分为单木建模和场景建模两个尺度。第一部分总结了单木建模的两类方法:基于植物学的和基于图形学的方法;分别介绍了GOSSYM模型、AMAP、L-studio和Xfrog等单木建模软件以及其他建模方法和单木模型的应用。第二部分介绍了场景建模:包括场景的基础DEM、景观设计、建立虚拟场景三部分。总结了建立场景常用的方法;改进算法以提高建模和漫游效率、增加真实性。最后总结了在该领域仍存在的问题和应用的发展方向。
