Abstract: We investigate the tradeoff of timing resolution and energy resolution for a Positron Emission Tomography (PET) system. Based on the high speed PCI technique, we design the real-time data acquisition system for high timing resolution and high energy resolution in a PET application. Hence, we will be able to evaluation the combinations of timing resolution and energy resolution for optimizing the cost-effective PET system.

摘要: 探讨了正电子断层扫描系统中时间分辨率和能量分辨率的互换性,提出了时间分辨率的提高可以弥补能量分辨率的不足带来的缺陷。基于高速的PCI数据采集卡,设计了面向PET的高时间分辨率和高能量分辨率的实时数据采集系统。在此基础上,考虑成本和空间位置信息等因素,可以帮助PET系统设计选择优化系统性能的时间分辨率和能量分辨率。
