Abstract: Complex network theory is a newly risen subject. Due to the rapid development, the structure of computer network is increasingly complicated ，as a result, the traditional random network model is difficult to characterize objectively current computer network topology’s character, so complex network theory provides new view and thinking to study in this field. In the paper, complex theory is introduced; Then it surveys current status of research on computer network topology based on complex network theory, also points out some problems existing among them, as well as applying this theory to study computer network topology is emphasized; At last, the direction to research in future are summarized..
