利用全局运动估计和Canny理论压缩显微图像

Microscopic image compression using global motion estimation and Canny algorithm

摘要: 随着全自动生物显微镜的应用越来越广泛,高分辨率显微图像数据量大的问题越来越突出。为了使其便于存储及网络传输,针对全自动生物显微镜下图像步进式移动的特点,提出了基于全局运动估计和Canny边缘检测算法的显微图像压缩算法,利用Canny边缘检测算法、全局运动矢量估计及运动补偿等技术对图像进行压缩。实验结果表明,该算法对高分辨率生物显微图像的压缩比可以达到600倍以上。

Abstract: Along with the application of automatic bio-microscope more and more extensive,the problem that the high resolution bio-microscopic image involves mass data is more and more outstanding.For being easy to storage and transmit,this paper proposes an algorithm of high resolution bio-microscopic image compression based on global motion estimation and Canny edge-detection,according to the step by step moving of bio-microscopic image obtained by bio-microscope.The method uses the intra-frame coding of Canny edge-detection algorithm,global motion estimation and motion compensation to compress the obtained images.The experiments show that the compression rate on high resolution bio-microscopic image can attain 600 times.
