摘要: 在研究了8B/10B编码原理以及内在相关性的基础上,提出了一种新的8B/10B编码方案。利用并行处理方法,在同一个时钟下同时并行处理多组数据的编码工作,从而提高编码电路的输出时钟频率。实验结果表明所设计的8B/10B编码电路在时钟频率为500 MHz下可正确地实现对8 bit数据进行编码,能够满足高速串行接口的设计要求。

Abstract: Based on analyzing the encoding theory, inherent coherence and logic relationship of 8B/10B code, a novel implementing method of 8B/10B encoding is proposed. The frequency of encoding can be improved by using the pipelined processing, some groups of data have to be encoded under the one clock. The experimental results show that the proposed 8B/10B encoder can achieve the function of coding, and the frequency of coding can reach 500 MHz. The proposed 8B/10B coder can be used to the high speed serial interface.
