摘要: 现有的模拟果实形变方法单一且真实感不强,为了更真实地模拟自然界中果实形变,提出了一种将基于约束形变和基于微分坐标相结合的方法。通过交互式方法定义形变区域,设置影响形变的参数,计算势函数得到初步形变的结果,估计出形变区域的旋转变换,并增加保持果实特征的约束条件,采用基于微分坐标的方法进行第二次形变。实验结果表明,该方法所模拟的果实形变不仅保持几何细节,同时也具有较强的真实感。

Abstract: The existing methods that simulate fruit deformation are single and not natural. To simulate fruit deformation realistically, this paper presents a new deformation method, which incorporates constrained deformation with differential coordinates. Deforming area is defined by an interactive interface, and the parameters affecting deformation can be set. Then the deformation results are retrieved by computing potential function. The rotation transformations are estimated for deforming area, and constrained conditions are added to preserve fruit feature, using differential coordinates based method to produce the second deformation. Experimental results show that the fruit deformation simulated by this method preserves surface detail, and it is quite realistic.
