摘要: 在IEEE 802.11无线局域网中,当节点数量增加,碰撞会相应增加,信道利用率下降,总吞吐量也随之下降。提出了基于节点数量估计的时隙长度动态调整算法DTSLENN。通过深入的理论分析,严格证明了取得吞吐量最大化的时隙长度优化设置解析式。基于此解析式,网络节点可根据节点数量来优化设置时隙长度,以取得最佳的系统吞吐量,从而改善网络性能。NS2仿真验证了所提算法在多种网络场景下的有效性。

Abstract: In IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN, when the node number increases, collision accordingly will increase, the channel utilization will drop and the total throughput will decrease. This paper proposes a kind of simple and effective scheme-
DTSLENN(Dynamic Time Slot Length based on Estimating Number of Nodes). Through in-depth theoretical analysis, the analytical formula of the optimal slot length for the throughput maximization is strictly proved to optimize the length of the time slot according to the number of nodes, thus to improve effectively the system throughput, and to improve network performance. NS2 simulation verifies the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in a variety of network scenarios.
