Denoising method for OCT image based on combination of wavelet tranform with wiener filtering

摘要: 散斑在OCT图像中既是信息载体,也是一种严重的噪声。针对OCT图像的这一特点,提出一种基于小波变换和维纳滤波相结合的OCT图像去噪方法。通过对OCT图像进行小波分解,得到四个不同频带的子图像,保持低频部分不变,对另外三个高频细节图像进行维纳滤波,将低频子图像和三个滤波后的高频细节子图像进行小波反变换,得到去噪后的图像。实验结果表明小波变换和维纳滤波相结合的方法对OCT图像有比较理想的去噪效果。

Abstract: Speckle phenomenon is both as an information carrier and as noise resource in OCT image. According to this characteristics, a new image denoising method is presented by combining wavelet transform and wiener filter in this paper. OCT image is decomposed to four frequency sub-band images by wavelet tranform, among the different-band images, the three hight frequency sub-band images are denoised by Wiener filter, while keeps the low frequency image without any change, the three hight frequency detail images with Wiener filter and low frequency image are composed. The experimental results show this method is effective.
