摘要: 车牌定位是车牌识别系统中的关键环节,针对传统方法用于车牌定位的种种缺陷和遗传算法过早收敛的确定,提出了一种基于免疫克隆选择的车牌定位算法。该方法将具体车牌特征与免疫克隆选择算法所具有的全局搜索特性、解的多样性和不易早熟等特点相融合,在大多数测试图像上取得了较满意的结果。仿真实验表明,该算法能自动搜索到车牌区域,且受图像质量变化的影响较小,具备良好的抗噪性。

Abstract: The location of license plate plays a crucial role in license plate recognition system. Based on some flaws of traditional methods used for license plate location and shortcomings of premature convergence of genetic algorithms, a new License Plate Location based on Immune Clonal Selection(LPLICS) is proposed in this paper. This method synthesizes the character of license plate location and that of global search, diversity, and no prone to premature in immune clonal selection. Experimental results show that LPLICS can automatically search for license plate and has less impact of changes by image quality, with good noise immunity.
