摘要:

嵌入式系统具有计算能力较弱和用途专一的特点,从而限制了其图形图像的处理能力。将可重构计算思想应用到嵌入式系统中,设计一种嵌入式可重构显示适配器,兼有软件灵活和硬件高效的特点。以BMP图像显示功能为例,在Xilinx公司的FPGA开发板上实现一个原型系统,介绍具体的设计细节,验证技术可行性。该设计为将来可重构音视频处理提供了重要的技术基础。

Abstract: Generally,embedded system has limited processing power and some specific functionalities,thus does not have good performance in dealing with graphic data.By applying the idea of reconfigurable computing to the design of embedded system,this paper presents a new design of reconfigurable display adaptor for embedded system that provides both benefits of flexibility from software and high performance from hardware.To demonstrate the feasibility,a prototype system is built on Xilinx’s FPGA developing board using the display of a BMP picture as an example,with many design and implementation details.This has laid a solid technology foundation for the next step of reconfigurable multimedia system.
