摘要: 针对当大量移动客户端需要流媒体服务时,编码转换服务器之间的负荷分担方法会较大地影响到总的满足服务质量(QoS)的流的数目的问题,提出了一种新的基于编码转换服务器资源消耗加权的负荷分担方法,用于均衡分布式编码转换服务器间的负荷,能使分布式编码转换服务器的性能得到更多的扩展。实验中,通过增加编码转换服务器的数目,评估了该方法均衡负荷的优越性和可扩展性。

Abstract: When lots of mobile clients require streaming media services,the load distribution method between transcoding servers may impact on the total number of QoS streams greatly.To solve the problem,a new method is proposed based on resource weight of transcoding servers for the fair load distribution and the more scalable performance in distributed transcoding servers.In experiments,the performance of load distribution and scalability for the method is evaluated by increasing number of transcoding servers.
