Abstract: LSB matching is a widely-used steganographic scheme for digital images.However，the study on steganalysis of LSB matching is just in the early stage.This paper discusses a recently proposed steganalysis method for LSB matching，which is based on the local extrema of image’s histogram.Point out the defects of the above scheme，and propose a new one for detecting LSB matching by using the calibration method.Extensive experimental results show that the new discriminator is easy to implement and perform much better than the old one.
