摘要: 提出了基于小波域奇异值分解(SVD)的图像压缩算法,该算法通过对小波分解系数进行奇异值分解,进而对小波系数进行压缩,实现图像压缩。将该算法与图像奇异值分解直接压缩的算法进行了实验比较,实验结果表明,该算法较图像奇异值分解直接压缩的算法具有更好的性能,在同样压缩比的情况下能获得更高的信噪比。

Abstract: An image compression algorithm based on wavelet domain Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is put forward.In this method,image compression is completed by singular value decomposition of the wavelet coefficient.Experimental results demonstrate better performance of the proposed algorithm than the SVD direct compression.The PSNR of this algorithm is greater than SVD direct compression algorithm at the same compression rate.
